FAQs

Do you use chemicals on the farm?

We are not organic certified yet, but we only use natural inputs on our farm. We amend our soil with organic compost, worm castings, and OMRI listed amendments derived from natural sources. As we harness the power of more animals and expand our own composting we will be soon able to sustain our soil health without any outside inputs. We consume the food from our farm, so we would never dream to spray harsh pesticides or herbicides capable of damaging human, animal, and soil health.

How does pick-up for boxes and bouquets work?

We offer two pick-up locations, pick the one closest for you.

Louisville - Downtown - 636 Barrett Ave, Louisville, KY

Louisville - South - 10713 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY

What if I don’t live near the farm but still want to be a VIP?

We welcome all support, please let us know if you do make it into the area so we can schedule time to show you around the farm and thank you for your support!

What events will there be?

Look out for the official 2026 event calendar coming soon! Do you see yourself doing yoga next to a field of flowers? If so, you are in for a treat. We also plan to have You Pick events for flowers and produce seasonally. The harvest party will not be one to miss, especially if you see yourself dancing to music next to a field of flowers. Sprinkle in some dogs, goats, and toddlers and you will get the general vibe of an event at Happy Hollow!
